A 12th minute mistake by Adam Clarry proved the telling factor against lowly Bishop's Stortford (at Ware FC). Clarry was caught in two minds in his own box, not sure whether to kick clear or passback, and was robbed by De Luca. His first shot was blocked by Andy Lomas but De Luca pounced at the second attempt. Early on, Dave Regis headed on for Swaysland and his angled drive was saved by King. Just before half-time Matt Hayward headed against the bar from a corner. United dominated most of the second half but were unable to break down Bishop's defence (King only had one save to make). |
