Within minutes of the full-time whistle, manager Steve Ketteridge ordered his players back onto the pitch for a 'training session' which was to last nearly an hour. Such was his annoyance at the way United performed with a below par display against Bromley. On 75 minutes at 0-2 down, Kevin Davies headed home a cross from sub Kenrick Roudette and shortly after, Mick Swaysland shot just over. But it was too late to make any difference and in fairness Bromley could have easily won by a greater margin. Their goals came from a Tim Griggs penalty after a foul by Kieran Gallagher on Steve White, and Jamie Kyte waltzed past the defence unchallenged to slot past Andy Lomas on 53 minutes. |
