First stop for the 'Ducks on the road' was Bob Dowie's former club. Just over a minute into the game Ian Rutherford set-up Corey Browne who, with his back to goal, launched himself into the air and a spectacular overhead kick did the rest for an early goal of the season candidate. On 17 minutes Jason Soloman crossed and Rutherford volleyed first time, the ball curling past Dave Hook. 2-0 and another goal of the season. Kumah pulled a goal back on 55 minutes, pouncing from close range after Richard Wilmot had parried a shot by Gavin. But from the restart Kenrick Roudette raced down the flank and crossed for Browne to restore the two goal cushion. Five minutes from time Roudette crossed and Browne completed his hat-trick to wrap up a 4-1 win. |
