This Bank Holiday local derby saw Aylesbury undone by two Nando Perna free kicks.

In the first fifteen minutes the flamboyant Thame midfielder fired in an effort from thirty yards. United keeper James Courtnage misread the shot which cannoned against the crossbar and fell invitingly for Greg Williams, later an Aylesbury player, who headed home with ease.

Scott Honeyball levelled the scores somewhat against the run of play before the break, bundling the ball home from close range, before Perna curled a free kick past the hapless Courtnage on the hour mark.
