The Ducks picked up their first home points of the season with victory over Wycombe lookalikes Uxbridge.

The lead was taken after ten minutes when Darren Grieves headed home a Phil Mason free kick.

United were dealt a bitter blow on fifteen minutes when Tom Hill was stretchered off following a rash challenge.

Roni Joe had two chances to double Aylesbury's lead before another blow was dealt - Grieves picked up an ankle injury following another rash Uxbridge challenge, and had to be replaced by Steve Callinan at half-time.

As the second half progressed United took control of their game, and it swung even more in their favour when Uxbridge had a man sent off for violent conduct.

With fifteen minutes to go Roni Joe was brought down just inside the Uxbridge area. A penalty was awarded and Steve Callinan put it away for his first goal for the club.

The points were secured four minutes from time when Phil Mason fired into the bottom left hand corner of the net from 25 yards with a swerving shot that gave the visiting keeper no chance.
