After achieving their long awaited first ever Conference win with a 4-3 home victory over Chorley on the Saturday, Trevor Gould's side were brought down to earth with a huge bump after this resounding defeat at Buckingham Road. The Worcestershire side taught United a footballing lesson and it was the first time United had conceded 5 goals in a home league game since Crawley Town won 6-0 at Turnfurlong Lane in October 1976. Adrian O'Dowd in the 76th minute was United's sole scorer on a night to forget for the Ducks faithful. |
