After bouncing back from their 2-3 defeat away to Dagenham on the Saturday before Christmas with a 3-0 home win over Basingstoke on the Saturday, United recorded their 4th straight home win in all competitions as they eased through to the next round of the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup with this win over Hellenic League Premier Division side Didcot at Buckingham Road.
Darren Collins opened The Ducks' account with his 6th goal for the club in the 13th minute and after Cliff Hercules had doubled the hosts' lead with his 17th of the season in the 42nd minute, Collins made it 3-0 with his second of the evening in the 59th minute to set up a 2nd Round tie at home to old rivals Slough Town.
