The Ducks made it through to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup for the 9th time in 10 seasons after this replay win at Buckingham Road stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to 11 games.

After being denied a win by a late fluke equaliser at The Moorlands on the Saturday, Steve Ketteridge's side made no mistake this time round in front of Buckingham Road's biggest gate of the season thus far.

The hosts opened their account in the 27th minute when Paul Murray's shot was pushed out by Moors keeper Chris Taylor and the fit-again Cliff Hercules fired his 8th goal of the season.

United eventually doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Ian Hazel's through ball found Steve Heard who clipped home his 3rd of the season.

The Beazer Homes League Midland Division visitors always looked threatening and they pulled a goal back through Richard Evans in the 76th minute.

However, The Ducks sealed their win just 3 minutes later when Hercules' 14 yard shot crept under Taylor's body to earn them a trip to Newport IOW.
