New boss John Harding was joined on the bench by Warren Kelly who was serving a one match suspension, whilst fit again Simon Brown took over from Richard Wilmot in goal. He had a fairly trouble free afternoon as United strolled to their tenth away win in the league of the season. Gary Crawshaw and Steve Butler missed a couple of early chances and United had to wait 27 minutes before the Swans cracked.

Kieran Gallagher crossed to Crawshaw and his shot was going wide. The ball struck defender Mead and rebounded off Crawshaw past Preddie. The second half was similar to the first with United dominating, and on 66 minutes Jermaine Darlington cut inside and crossed low to the nearpost for Crawshaw to clip the ball home. Twice Corey Browne was unlucky, one shot hit the post as United cantered to an easy win.
