A crowd of just under a thousand saw Aylesbury record a relatively easy victory.

After dominating the early exchanges the home side took the lead on thirty one minutes. Rob Smith jinked around his marker before crossing to Cliff Hercules who slotted past Peter Lara in the Staines goal.

Just before the break United doubled their lead when Glen Donegal found himself in space and finished with aplomb.

Four minutes after the interval and the scoring was complete. Peter Hutter on a rare foray forward crossed low and hard. His effort struck Rob Smith in the chest and flew into the net.

The home side should have added to their tally as Donegal, Hercules, Pluckrose, Day and Cox all had good chances to score, but it ended three-nil.
